Still 30 minutes till the start of things. My info is that they'll do some drills, a four quarter game with a running clock. The TV window is two hours, so not sure how they'll fill the remainder if there is one. I will post running updates here.

Brian reports from the sideline that Johnathon Johnson is not dressed out for the game.

Offense wearing gold, defense wearing black with "a traditional football scoring system."

FIRST HALF

Kicks aren't being played live, but Chris Black and Finis Stribling were the return men.

First play is a flea flicker and Drew Lock is sacked for a loss of six by Ricky Hatley.

Second down a gain of one for Ish Witter.

Third and 15 is a screen to Witter who runs over a defender and gets a first down.

Witter another carry for another yard (or maybe half a yard).

2nd and 10: Lock a tough pass to Keyon Dilosa for seven.

Bad snap recovered by Lock for a big loss and Mizzou will punt. Return man is Aarion Penton.

Zanders runs the second team offense with Shaun Conway at RB.

Rest of the offense: Reese, Hall, Brown, Wingo, AJ Harris, Tanner Owen, Alec Abeln, Adam Ploudre, Paul Adams.

Defense: Cheadle, Perkins, Hilton, Brandon Lee, Terez hall, Eric Beisel, John Gibson, Josh Moore, Josh Augusta, Marcell Frazier, Jordan Harold (walk on).

Offense goes three and out.

First team offense and defense back out.

Offense:

Defense: Brady, Logan, Hatley, Spencer Williams, Scherer, Burkett, Newsom, TJ Warren, Penton, Wilson, Sherrills

Offense: Lock, Ryan Williams (was Witter on first series), Dilosa, Richaud Floyd, Nate Brown, Reese, Ploudre, Owen, Howell, Pendleton, Bailey.

Williams has two carries on this drive for almost nothing. Third and 15.

Lock has time and hits Williams down the seam, but he is hit right away and can't hang on. Three possessions, three punts.

Offense now being led by Jack Walters, who completes his first pass to Trevon Walters.

Also on the field with the offense: Emanuel Hall, Wingo, Kendall Blanton, Justin Smith.

First chance at a big play comes up empty as Lowary's pass goes off Justin Smith's fingertips.

Lock back out with the offense. Sweep to Witter loses a yard. Offense less than inspiring thus far.

Shovel pass to Jason Reese loses two more so the trickeration isn't really working either.

Lock steps up in the pocket, competes a pass to Ish Witter on the run. Both first downs have come via Lock to Witter so far.

Nate Brown is the first wideout to make a catch, gains four on first and ten.

Witter breaks loose and gains eight.

End of one quarter, no score.

SECOND QUARTER

Mizzou moves to the 20 on a couple of first downs, the most recent on a 14 yard keeper from Drew Lock.

Third and five after a couple of runs by Ish Witter.

Swing pass to Ish for a first down. Walter Brady down on the play.

Brady is helped from the field, walking, shall we say, quite gingerly, to the bench.

First TD of the game comes on a third down pass from Lock to Richaud Floyd for four yards. Gold leads 7-0 after the PAT from Tucker McCann.

Second team offense being led by Zanders back out. Ray Wingo on an end around for a couple.

Cale Garrett getting some run with the #2 defense here.

Zanders incomplete, black team offense will punt again.

Gold team offense goes three and out. Ryan Williams has been the number two back, unofficially has four carries for minus-one yard.

Jack Lowary unofficially 1/5 so far.

HALFTIME: Gold 7, Black 0

THIRD QUARTER

J'Mon Moore and Ronnell Perkins back to receive the second half kickoff. Looks like a 13 minute running clock.

Ish Witter starts the second half with two yards. Unofficially 10 carries for 19.

Lock keeps on third and three for a first down. He has 18 on two carries IIRC.

Drew Lock to J'Mon Moore for 64 yards and a touchdown behind John Gibson.

Marvin Zanders completes his first pass of the day for a first down to Eric Laurent. It's the first first down for any QB other than Drew Lock (open competition? I doubt it.)

There's a snap way over Zanders head for a loss of about 20 yards. That's gonna make things difficult. Now third and 29.

Lock back out at QB here with Ryan Williams at tailback.

General impression: I'd be surprised if Missouri's starting running back at West Virginia is currently on campus.

Lock with a nice long throw, but good coverage by John Gibson who was burned on the Moore TD earlier. Offense will punt.

Lowary out at QB now for the gold, sacked on third and four (he wouldn't have been in a real game, but was here). He has just one completion and it lost five yards.

END OF THIRD QUARTER: GOLD 14, BLACK 0

FOURTH QUARTER

Zanders appears to be out there with the one offense here. Facing third and five from the 28.

Zanders shows nice scrambling ability for a first down. Clock now down to about nine minutes.

Next play a nice delivery to Dilosa for a first down. I'll stand by my prediction that Dilosa is a starter against WVU.

DeSean Blair on the field now. First I've noticed him. Seems to be a guy that's really slipped. Haven't seen any of Chris Black or Sean Culkin in a long time either.

Richaud Floyd with a nice catch over the middle. He's clearly helped himself this spring.

Leaping grab in the end zone between double coverage by Justin Smith for a 20 yard TD from Zanders. Smith absolutely has to be a red zone weapon for this offense right?

Gold team now leads 21-0.

A little failed trickeration as Ish Witter throws incomplete for Dilosa.

Trevon Walters just got his first carry of the day.

That's going to wrap things up with a punt and the clock under a minute. Heading down for postgame. Will have a couple stories, a photo gallery and some videos this evening.
