Bo then tells the story of meeting a disabled veteran at Tiger Walk. The veterans wife said he’s been depressed and doesn’t smile much anymore.
So Bo had them meet him at the gate where the players enter. He took the veteran and his wife in, toured under the stadium, met Malzahn, met Saban and some Alabama players, showed him the field, and then walked with them to their seats. The veteran gave Bo a big hug and said with a smile on his face that he get he could die a happy man after his experiences that day.
When there was one minute left and Auburn was pretty much assured a victory, Bo left the field to sit in the locker room alone. Said the game was good but no Iron Bowl victory celebration could match how he was feeling after making a depressed veteran happy.

“Mr. Bo Jackson came over there and said, ‘I don’t want to see y’all celebrating no more until that clock has zeroes on it,’ ” Auburn senior linebacker Tre’ Williams said. “That really helped us out because that helped us focus.”
