Looking to make a trip to bourbon country soon - likely July/August. Few questions:
-What days of the week are best?
-Which distillery is your favorite and why?
-How many days should I spend and not have wife lose interest -she is my driver

-Any good sites you recommend for planning?
Buffalo Trace is a must stop for me. Otherwise pretty open to others. Will set my budget at $1500 for bottle purchases.
Note: Wife has a friend in the area so we will stay at her place (Money saved = Money spent). Also nice to have them available to purchase extra bottles if desired.
