Looking at the pics from the Belk Bowl from social media reminds me of spring game attendance. WF isn’t close to filing half the stadium for a home game, and I’m not sure If there are any A&M fans there.
Mizzou’s showing in Houston was very respectable, especially for a game that was mid-week & 14 hours away.
I’m convinced that Mizzou travels as well as all but the most rabid fan bases (all of which have experienced more championship success), and much better than it’s reputation conveys.
BTW, friend works in UKAD: they couldn’t believe they were selected for Music City b/c the basketball team is hosting Louisville today, and there’s no way to attend both games. A huge chunk of the 25,000 or so who will be at the basketball game would make up the football crowd too. As a result, they had no chance to sell out their allotment, even though Nashville is so close. The Musc City Bowl chose UK over Mizzou, b/c it didn’t think Mizzou fans would return to Nashville for a second game this year, after the Vandy game. I think the MCB was wrong.
