This story is incredibly sad. A lost daughter to homicide, loss of >$200,000, and a personal bankruptcy later, this poor family has suffered unimaginably due to a publicity stunt attempted in their name by Brady (f/k/a The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence).
The moral lesson here is don't trust anyone who wants to take away personal liberties, even if you're overly emotional about it after a personal loss. These people do not care about you. They only care about their dirty message and virtue signaling.
