The Tiger Club of KC football season kicked into full gear today with our second luncheon of the season. Brian Neuner (@bneuner), KOMU and Fox Sports alum, was the featured speaker at the Westport Flea Market in Kansas City. Mizzou Defensive Line Coach Brick Haley got the meeting rolling with a call-in update from Columbia.

Brian Neuner is mid-Missouri through and through, having attended high school in Jefferson City before graduating from the prestigious MU J-School in 1988. At the luncheon, he shared a wide-range of interesting stories from his 11 years at KOMU to roaming the sidelines for Fox Sports to many assignments as a play-by-play announcer. Most recently, Brian introduced the college football world to a side of Heisman Trophy hopeful Drew Lock that had yet to be shared. Next up for Brian is another in-depth story, this time about a prominent Mizzou Women’s Basketball player.

The Tiger Club of KC meets every Tuesday during the school year at the Westport Flea Market. Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. and the program starts at Noon. Our guest next Tuesday, September 11 is Howard Richards, Mizzou Assistant AD - Community Relations, and Football Analyst for the Tiger Sports Network. Howard was a 2nd Team All American for Mizzou and a first-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys.
