Head Coach Brian Smith -- whose Tiger wrestlers are ranked 24th in the nation and just extended their conference winning streak to 19 matches -- was today’s featured speaker at the Tiger Club of Kansas City.
Now in his 22nd year at Mizzou, Coach Smith is the winningest wrestling coach in program history. He was the 2017 NWCA Coach of the Year, and in 2019 was named the Don Faurot Sportsperson of the Year by the Kiwanis Club of Columbia, Mo. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native is a graduate of Michigan State, and he holds a Master’s in Athletic Administration from William Woods University.
