So I own a bump stock essentially for no reason what so ever other than a novelty item. Here’s the deal...I bought it legally for around $100 bucks. Now I am supposed to destroy a legally purchased item? I know it’s just $100 bucks, but why should I not be reimbursed since I purchased it legally, and now the government is asking me to destroy it? Just curious...seems like a principle thing to me. If the government asks me to turn in or destroy my AR should I also comply? What if they ask me to turn in my hand gun? Should I comply? Just curious on a philosophical note...thoughts?
