Burden Nugget
I’m at the STL airport this morning and talking some college football with a friend at the bar. I start talking about Luther Burden to him and how he’s visiting Georgia this weekend, etc. About 5 mins later, we meet another guy that sits next to us and we get to talking. He mentions his cousin Jamison Williams plays for Alabama. He then goes on about his cousins friend, Luther Burden. They officially met a couple months ago at a Mizzou camp. My friend laughs and says, “we were literarily just talking about Burden!”
I asked the guy if he had any insight on where he may go. I was told it’s a tight race but he thinks Luther is leaning Mizzou. He stated that he is really drawn to playing with fellow STL players on the team. He said he personally wants him to go to Bama and that Williams has been in his ear (I have heard on this board that he wasn’t a take for them though?) He said it’s going to take Mizzou time to turn it around and he’s not sure if that’s the best situation for Burden. I said, he would be an instant home town hero and can help turn this ship around. Either way, it was cool to hear another person talking favorably about Burden and Mizzou.
