Today my husband test drove a 2022 full size pickup. I knew things were crazy out there. But I didn’t realize just how effing insane it is. Not just paying full sticker. The dealership wanted us to pay an additional $5k on top of that. Ultimately they wanted us to pay $14k over manufacturer’s invoice. The husband walked out. The guy asked what they could do to get our business. He said - I think we’re about $10,000 apart. And that was that. Luckily we don’t NEED it right now.I don’t understand how people are out there paying these kind of prices for cars. So how long we going to be in this insanity and when can I go car shopping again?
