the so called institutions of higher learning are shallower than shit- at least shit is alive, these institutions are all dead.. they study the dead slaves, then they settle on a fact and make every other possibility dead. everything is dead there

i walked out of class today as i have all my life, frustrated and
annoyed. I get that we are automatic, that is the nature of our being at
this time in human history. however, i do not think that this sleeping
state is the end all be all of our potential.
i feel as if these college courses are designed to enumerate the
fundamental problems with
humanity without providing any possible remedy or solution. as
mechanical animals, allergic to having a will, coupled with our inherent
inability of being sincere with ourselves and those around us, we can
do nothing.
i'm guessing you know Professor Patterson quite well, seeing how you
are doing a good deal of work for him in this class. do you think he
would be annoyed to take the time out to help me go through some of
the finer details that are not completely covered in class? or should i
direct my questions elsewhere?
my basic issue with this material is that we spend an inordinate
amount of time talking about our predisposition of taking the easy way
out and therefore remaining slaves to the automatic functioning of the
perturbed ego brain. and while i agree, that is to say, in our common
state, we are indeed conflicted with desires in contradiction with one
another, and we have no real will, just a random series
of "i's" with no unified direction, which are subject to anything and
everything that the external world of chance based material
manifestation hurls at us. however, there is another state of being, i
have been there, and i have communicated with others who have also been
there as well.
we are machines that are slaves to the automatic functioning that is
done in us without our conscious permission. a machine does not have a
will. it does not have an ability to do. everything must be done through
the mechanism. how can a mechanism be said to have a will? and how can a
will-less individual be said to be conscious?
i disagree with the fundamental and unquestioned psychological
conception that there are only two distinct states of the psyche,
consciousness and unconsciousness. the majority of people that claim
consciousness are not conscious and will never be afforded the
opportunity to find consciousness because they have no motivation to
look and work for what they have been told that they have, automatically
you don't have to answer all of these questions, i know you are
probably really stretched for time, and i don't expect you to, i just
needed to get them out, because i am searching and not finding much here
in school that gives me any hope
are these emails inappropriate or something.. because these trained psychology professionals never answer them.. if anything, they give me the # to the counseling center... what a shitshow
world of shit, the institutions are failing the people of the world
we demand answers
we are tired of our college curriculum consisting of only pointing out our deficiencies without including any remedy or possible solution
i am trying the TA because this professor already fed me a load of bullshit in class today.. i know that his strict identification with behaviorism will keep him from being useful to me

he showed us a slide in class today about how we view reality. he told us that we automatically make judgements about beings based on race, ethnicity, physical attractiveness, and other outward, completely random features... i raised my hand and i asked him, "well, what about empathetic individuals. are they not capable of looking beyond the external to see, feel, and hear what the internal state of the being is going through with their skill?"
his answer " that is an abstract ideal, at best, first of all, and the empathetic individual is not really sensing what is being felt, but rather judging the behavior being observed." he did not answer my question at all.. he dismissed it. which is what i am going to do with his course material that i will ace
how dare i imply that humans are capable of living in a non-jugemental state...
the dehumanization is think and heavy my friends, tread with awareness of how much you are being raped every day of your life
