Watched 12 hours worth of games yesterday and besides the close games and how poor some teams shoot the ball the one thing that stood out was how bad the officiating is. I get refs missing calls they cant see because of bad angles or too much action but I can never understand how they call fouls that never happened. Countless phantom calls yesterday. Whats even more ridiculous is Bilas and others want to change the rules to help the offense, hell 25% of fouls called yesterday on the defense should have been on the offense! They push off dribbling, jump side ways to get calls, and extending the arm on lay-ups. Yes the product isn't as good as it used to be but man the officiating is so bad they need to fix that first. And of course not even going to mention the obvious bad call yesterday.
