Well, the first ticket to the dance was claimed yesterday, with Murray State (26-5) beating a very solid Belmont team handily in the OVC final. Murray has the looks of a 12 or 13 that could beat the right 4/5.
Elsewhere, Loyola (27-5) advanced to the MVC final, where it plays Ill St (18-14) today at 1.
Wagner (23-8) and LIU Brooklynn (17-16) advanced to the NEC final, which is played on Tuesday. Go Wagner!
In the Big Ten, Purdue and Michigan advance and play today for the championship in MSG.
And lastly for yesterday, we had a top seed fall, NKU (22-9, 15-3) out of the Horizon. They and Wright State were the class of the Horizon this year. NKU gets knocked out in the first round.
Today’s action:
Championship games:

Big South- Liberty (20-13) at Radford (21-12). Liberty is the 5 seed and Radford is the 2 seed. Top seed UNCA (21-12) was knocked off by Liberty yesterday. The winner likely gets to play in Dayton in a play in game. The game is on ESPN at noon.
Atlantic Sun- The top two seeds advance to fight for a spot in the dance. The winner will likely be a Dayton team. It’s 1 seed FGCU (23-10) vs 2 seed Lipscomb (22-9).
