So... late in August Charter pulled their radio advertising across the country... seemed weird at the time, but okay. Stop order through Sept 10th. Start back up on Sept 11th.
Several days after the stop order started I heard grumbling Charter and ESPN were about to go at it on a new deal... Then the first Mizzou game came and minutes into the game I got clarification on the issue, first-hand (and I like manyof you was pissed). The P-D had an article just the other day suggesting this would be a long drawn out affair. blah, blah, blah. I had a sneaking suspicion that Charter wouldn't start advertising again, unless they knew they had a deal... which certainly makes one wonder. Was this pre-planned for some reason? It makes NO sense. But today, Charter and ESPN are friends again, and their advertising started this morning, just like clock-work.
