Mun Choi delivered the 2024 State of the University address today, some of the highlights:
- Talked about the #4 best value ranking among flagship schools in USNWR, #10 ranking by Time Magazine for preparing future leaders
- Student retention rate at an all-time high (93%), six-year grad rate (75%) is best in the state of Missouri, 95% placement rate (job or grad school within 6 months) is among national leaders
- Already received 33k applications for AY25-26, up 43% from AY24-25 at the same time
- Research Expenditures $485mm, up from $237mm in FY14. 11th consecutive year of growth
- Support from MoLeg at an all-time high $505mm
- 1.6 million patients/year receive radioisotopes created at MURR
- 20MW NextGen MURR will greatly increase isotope production
