This is the guy who I really wanted to us make a run at last spring. I think he is a realistic level
of a coach for a program like ours to shoot for.
That being said. Xavier has made the Sweet 16 now in 5 of the last 8 years and he's been the head coach for 7 of those seasons. How much longer does he stay at Xavier? He has to compete with Cincinnati, Dayton, tOSU, and everyone else within 200 miles of Cinci for local and regional recruits and does it with decent facilities but nothing like what P5 schools have to offer. Very impressive for a guy who is still only 45yo. He is the perfect coach for someone to hire looking at the next 10-15 years IMO.
