For those curious how Tyler Badie's and Akayleb Evans' combine performances stacked up:
I'm using RAS (Relative Athletic score) as a metric and and RAS combines a player's size, speed, and explosion measurements based on some of the most important drills conducted at the combine and gives them a score out of 10.
Badie graded out as an average athlete which isn't a huge surprise. He's going to be undersized at the next level and is more of a scat back. However, his game breaking speed was confirmed in the 40-yard dash. I wouldn't imagine his stock changed much after the combine. You just have to turn on the tape for him.
Akayleb Evans had a huge weekend. He ended up having a fantastic combine and also ran a 4.4 40-yard dash. Evans also displayed a good vertical and broad jump which combined with his size will allow him to break up some passes in the NFL. I think Evans could go a lot higher than some people think similar to Larry Borom last year. The ability and athleticism is definitely there.
