There's really nothing more to say. They did what they should have done and what we expected them to do. The only things you can really learn in games like this are negative and we didn't learn anything negative. So that's good.

I'm not sold on the pass rush, but they're 1-0, should be double digit favorites next week and I haven't seen anything that makes me think they won't be 2-0 going to Purdue.

The only real complaint I've seen is the crowd. It was a heat index of 99. The east side of the stadium was in the sun all day. It was a crappy opponent and the game was over 15 minutes in. I wouldn't have stuck around if I wasn't getting paid and sitting in air conditioning either. If there are 44K at 6 pm next Saturday, Jim Sterk's got a real problem on his hands and this fanbase is very poor. But I'm not going to judge it on today.

We've had 7 stories on the game today, Mitchell's got another one coming tonight and a grade card in the morning. Sean is working his tail off in St. Louis watching high school games and will have a lot of stuff from that. Enjoy the night, I'll be back with ten thoughts tomorrow and we'll start previewing Wyoming soon after.

Thanks for following along.
