Not a lot to say about this game. Missouri did what I expected it to do against a bad team that quit on its season two weeks ago.

Before this season I said Missouri needed to go 8-4 to show tangible progress and hope for the future. The Tigers did just that. Was there some stuff left out there? Absolutely. But Missouri has won four in a row and as Drew Lock said after the game "If the Missouri Tigers aren't ranked next week, there's something going on." They should enter the bowl game as a top 25 team.

Lock's legacy is complicated and I wrote about that some here. But in the last month, we've seen the best he can be. I think his best football is ahead of him and if he goes to the right situation, he's a guy that could make Missouri proud for a very long time. He's been nothing but a great representative for the program. He's a kid that's tougher than he gets credit for and dealt with a lot of stuff he probably won't ever open up to us about. Happy for him the way he finished things out.

Barry Odom told us in the middle of last season that he was the guy for this job and they were going to win under him. He delivered. There's no doubt in my mind you lock him up and give him a raise. No doubt at all.

Terry Beckner, Terez Hall, Emanuel Hall, Paul Adams and a lot of other seniors left a nice mark on this program and left it better than they found it. Jordan Elliott, Larry Rountree, Damarea Crockett, Kam Scott, Jalen Knox and so many others give you a lot of hope that this thing might continue to move in the right direction over the next few years.

It's been a fun season to cover. We'll shift into hoops mode with the Temple game this week, but we'll cover the bowl announcement, the practices leading up to it and the game.

Photos, videos and stories on the front. A senior day gallery and a notebook from Mitchell still on the way. Grades and snap counts tomorrow.

Oh, and a little birdie told me Odom's visiting Kelly Bryant on Monday.
