I don't have a lot to say about this one that I didn't say in my postgame story.

This team's been playing out the string for a few weeks now and the end will come some time between Wednesday and Friday in Nashville. They'll open against UGA and they might win that one. Up next is Auburn, which is the worst matchup in the league for Missouri and I see pretty much no way they win that one. If they do, I don't have any reason to believe this team can string together three straight SEC wins because it hasn't done so all season. And the NIT isn't gonna happen at this point in time.

So this year really wasn't fun. I mean, if you're looking for signs for next year, there have been some and there were some today like Torrence Watson and Xavier Pinson, but waiting for next year isn't very fun. Missouri fans have waited for next year WAY too often in the last 20 years. So you'll do it again because that's the only choice there is.

Sorry, guys, I know there's not a lot of meat to this, but it was a fairly depressing game at the end of a fairly depressing season. I can only write about how they played hard despite not having much talent and took a double digit lead and then lost it so many times in so many ways.

@mitchell4d heads to Nashville on Tuesday and I'm on the spring football beat this week. @Sean_Williams will do his best getting junior day news for you. Enjoy the evening, one last time for the 16th season, I'm out from Mizzou Arena.
