I could start out saying how it was good to see fans in the arena and into the game and loud and good to see Missouri play well and get a win and come through for Rhyan Loos. And all those things are true. They're all good.

What if they could do that more regularly rather than the Rally for Rhyan game being a bright spot in a dismal February? Because that's what it's been way too often.

Missouri deserves credit. But where is this all the time?

They deserve credit for understanding the officials were going to call a foul every time anyone got within five feet of the rim and doing that. The offense turned into "Let Pinson drive" and it worked. He either scored or found someone or got to the line. Credit to them for recognizing it and credit to him for doing it.

Kudos to Reed Nikko who has been the most important Tiger in their last two wins. I'll leave it to you guys to ponder the fact that late in season three Reed Nikko is one of the best and perhaps the most valuable player on the team, but good on him for coming through.

Tray Jackson has earned more time. I'd start him next game. He's playing better than Kobe Brown. He's playing better at times than Mitchell Smith. He brings something nobody else but Pinson on this team brings. He's a plus athlete and he even chipped in on defense with a huge blocked shot. He isn't perfect and he isn't going to be perfect but in a season that isn't going anywhere and isn't going to cost anyone his job, I'd like to see a whole lot more of him down the stretch (Cuonzo said after the game his conditioning has been the biggest thing limiting his playing time which seemed weird to me, but whatever).

If I start talking about the officiating I might never stop. It wasn't biased or lopsided. I just don't want to watch a game with 59 fouls and 83 free throws and infinity clock reviews. It's awful. College basketball games shouldn't take more than two and a half hours even when they go into OT. This sport needs people to pay more attention to it. Things like Saturday don't help that cause very much.

All in all, good win and now they go on the road to LSU and host Auburn and neither one is a Rally for Rhyan game and I don't expect it to be a very good week...but at least today was nice.

My story and photos are on the front, Mitch has a notebook coming and we'll have the and one first thing in the morning
