Not a ton to say about this one. Missouri beat a bad team badly. And that's good. The one thing that stood out is the defense. North Florida does one thing: They shoot the three a lot and usually make a good percentage. They were 5-28 tonight. Sure they missed some open shots, but that's good defense.

The other thing that really stands out to me about this team is the rebounding: They crush teams on the glass, particularly on the offensive glass. They had two possessions in the first five minutes on which they got three shots. They have about a +10 rebounding margin so far this season. Now, obviously, that's going to go down against SEC teams, but they can really attack the glass.

Jordan Barnett played the way I want to see him play. He was an all around player. Not just a three point shooter. If he can do that, he's an all SEC caliber guy.

Reed Nikko, how you doing?

Jontay Porter continues to just stuff the stat sheet. He led the team in assists most of the night, until Blake Harris had a late flurry. Porter had five assists to go with 10 points and 6 boards. Heck of an all around game.

Stephen F. Austin is a test. They're not a cakewalk. If Missouri gets past that one, they should be 11-2 headed into the SEC schedule. That'll work. Then they'd need to win 10 in the league to make the dance.

We'll close with this: Jordan Barnett was asked about surpassing last year's win total. "I try to completely forget about last year for the most part."

So do we all, Jordan.
