College athletes get nothing for their efforts

We often read these articles, stories. But tj soyoye is a good example of those that benefit. According to the col trib he is opening a medical facility in columbia. Congrats to him. Would he be where he is without college sports ? Maybe, maybe not.

Are there bad situations ? Absolutely, just like in anything. But tj seems to be the perfect example of a guy who took advantage of the opportunity afforded by college sports. His partner is a guy he met at mizzou. And columbia benefits as well by having his practice in town. Nice story.

Do players deserve more ? Maybe. But they do get plenty from playing and just being on scholarship. Soyoye and chase patton are two great examples of guys who busted their behinds and took the advantages and ran....just two of many i am sure.
