GP seemed a little nervious in front of his June bride.......however, it could have been because the room was full of HS coaches. One in particular did not like Alabama raiding the recent TE recruit from StL......GP called him Mr Positive, but he could not respond to the question. (recruiting violation)

It was the usual stuff....nothing really new........mainly he was directing the talk to his HS coaching audience, and referred to the message he gives to the players......excellence in all things, always play their A game, the B game does not win in the SEC. WIN in everything one does, weight room, class room,
fb practice, etc. Made a pitch for the South End stadium expansion to hurry up.........said it can not be just good, but the best in the nation. (I agree) He did a tribute to Mike Alden....said he would not have taken the job if Mike had not assured him that he would be with him 100%....back him......

I did not retain much to pass on, other attendees chime in please.........tidbits that I remember..........

Abbington........a difference maker........he inferred that he is a BIG back Great things expected from him.

Steward......he had a very unusual surgery, but expects him to be ready by fall. (have we heard that before?)

Walters........he will play this fall....starting in October...

Blair....expects him to be a star.

Maty.........% to at least 60%.......

Augusta..........raved about him....could be the best inside lineman.....(ever?) Must lose weight.

Linebackers.......Newsom and Scherer.......on and on about them.

Back seven D are the best athletes in his 15 years at Mizzou, fastest. etc.

Not much said about the offense.

Anyone else? Speak up............
