Gabe thanks for allowing me to post this. With all the flooding going on in South Carolina there's a big need for feeding people. I know LSU is stepping up to help. I thought us Mizzou fans could do our part as well. Some of you know I'm Involved with Operation BBQ Relief. We deployed to Columbia on Thursday. What we thought would be around 500 meals ended up being 2200 bbq meals on Thursday. Then yesterday 3800 meals were fed. This weekend could be well over 10,000 meals fed. We had several people volunteer all of last week at the American Royal to raise awareness now they are in Columbia assisting. We are a 100% volunteer 5013c
Non profit. It takes approximately $1 to feed 1 meal. OBR was started after the 2011 Joplin tornado when a few guys went down with their smokers to help feed victims and first responders. Since then we have had several deployments and fed almost 600k meals. We are asking for supplies and donations.
