I want to apologize that many of you heard this on social media. I intended to alert you before the news became public. This was a difficult decision to make but one I feel is in the best interest of my family. I want you to know that I didn't pursue the opportunity and wasn't looking to leave. I want each of you to know how much I appreciate your work the past 14 months. I have been inspired by your commitment to provide the best experience for our student-athletes. I have been humbled by your hard work and loyalty to Mizzou and appreciate the relationships I've developed with each of you."
