Trivia:

1) Mizzou RB Tony Galbreath's Fulton Hornets actually HOSTED their State Championsjip game and lost in a controversial 29-25 game vs. the Richmond Spartans who were quarterbacked by future Mizzou defensive end Blaine Henningson.

2) Mizzou players Tracy Mack (of Webster Groves) and George Shorthose (of Jeff City) squared off in the very first SHOM ME BOWL in 1979 which was the first time MSHSAA staged this event to get all the State Championship games highlighted at different start times in the same facility. Webster won 7-6...only two days after having played their annual TURKEY DAY GAME vs Kirkwood.

There is a LOT OF HISTORY here i all these Champioship games! I welcome some of your favorite memories of these Title games in this thread.
