Just read an article about his last game, a 7 inning 4 hit start the Cards won 1-0, getting that F'er Donaldson out on a dandy of a curve for his last out. A gem of a game in a tough final year for him. But what a helluva way to go out for one of the true professionals of the sport. As a long term Royals fan from the late 70's as a young kid...I've always admired and envied the Cards for their consistent success...this season notwithstanding...and he's been one of the best SP's in their storied history. Bravo to him.
