Corey Batoon to make $1 million a year as Mizzou's defensive coordinator
Mizzou will pay Corey Batoon $3 million over a 3-year contract as defensive coordinator.
Just received the agreement through an open records request. Three year deal for $1 million a year plus incentives (and a $30,000 signing bonus).

IF Batoon terminates the contract, he owes:
3 million until May 31
800,000 until December 31 2024
600,000 until December 31 2025
400,000 until December 31 2026
If Mizzou terminates the contract without cause it will owe him all the remaining guaranteed money (out of 3 million) on the contract. He has a duty to mitigate by seeking other employment. If he gets another job, Mizzou would owe the difference in the remaining money on his contract and what he will make at his new job.
Incentives:
Academic achievement: 10000
SEC championship game appearance: 25000
SEC championship: 50000
Broyles Award Finalist: 5000
Broyles Award Winner: 10000
