With Luke Kasubke going to MoKan it has created quite the issue in the Lou. Brad Beal Elite feels like they should have their picks of the top Nike kids in the area. I'm not saying they're right or wrong but it will be some fallout from Luke moving. We all know Beal went to Chaminade and that's where Luke goes to school as well. The problem is Beal got Chaminade a Nike deal and he feels it's only right that Luke should've stayed with BBE. It's real messy right now, so maybe cooler heads will prevail.
Vashon's coach Tony Irons will be coaching the 16U over at BBE. Nick Kerns was supposed to play with the 16's, but with Tony being the coach he can't play for him in the summer so he went back to Gateway. Luther Burden will be playing with the 16's as well.
The best PG in the state of the last 3-5 years will be tipping off at 12:00 in Springfield for the semifinals of class 4. SLU got a great PG in Yuri Collins. He's finally healthy and showing out.
Lastly, I watched the Eagles 8th grade team the other day and it's absurd how big they are. They have 5 kids 6'5 or taller on a 14U team. What the hell are these parents feeding these kids nowadays?
