I do not know what is worse, the play versus minutes on the court for Cullen Vanleer, or the chrome-sucking way the MU TV broadcasters try to cover for his deficiencies. They constantly tell me what a good shooter Vanleer is. Check the stats; he isn't. They tell me what a tough defender he is; the latest came after Pancake Thomas got to a baseline position ahead of Vanleer and missed an open short jumper. He MISSED! Defense had nothing to do with it. The kid hustles. Good! I expect nothing less from any player! But hustle by itself does not make you a good player and neither does the Vanleer Fan Club
