Multiple sources have told me in the last couple of days that Hugh Freeze isn't in play for Missouri. I cannot for certain say at what level that decision was made, but I've gotten indications from people that the feeling is the SEC would not be excited to see Freeze hired by a school in the conference this year.
As I understand it, the SEC isn't going to say "You can't hire him" but the league can certainly communicate that it would not be excited about it happening. And in that case, most ADs are going to pass.
I fully expect Huge Freeze to be an offensive coordinator somewhere next year. I do not expect it to be in the SEC.
