For all the people (slu fans) who are calling what CCM is doing "unethical and sleazy", what else is he supposed to do?
He took the job in March and has had to play rapid catch-up in recruiting in 2017-18.
Why should he not take a look at a 4/5 star center from his hometown whose coach got fired? Or a St. Louis kid who hasn't even reached signing day yet?
He's trying to build a terrible program from the ground up and he needs all the talent he can get.
I know it's mostly sour grapes from the opposing fans but it is a little frustrating to see people try to attack Coach Martin's character when he isn't doing anything wrong and the same fans who are attacking him would love it if their coach was doing the same.
