Hard fought game, both teams played well, Reaves was exceptional, Manek made big time shots. OU did the things necessary to win down the stretch.
Last possession they had a play drawn up, weren't able to get to it
Second half of the season: Tilmon being out hurt, fighting to get back, never got over the hump consistently.
On Buggs over Pinson: Buggs was doing a good job executing the offense, really good job defending.
Team taking it hard. Very emotional locker room.
On Dru: Stepped up big. he and Reaves both played very well.
Defending Manek: The threes in the second half were breakdowns on defense. Two were on Kobe Brown, one on Mitchell Smith
On the season: Did a great job getting us back where we need to be as a program and we'll continue to make progress.
More on Pinson: Got a flow with Buggs, got back in the game with him and thought he played well. Hasn't spoken at all about Pinson when asked these questions, only on Buggs.
On OU's defense: OU wanted to make Missouri's fours beat them. That was the game plan.
Jeremiah Tilmon
On the emotions: It was tough, especially because they expected to win.
On Brady Manek: Got to know the personnel, knew he was a shooter, Tilmon was guarding some other players on a defensive adjustment.
Went into the game expecting double teams. That's what he got.
On the senior class: Accomplished a lot. Always been the underdogs, proved a lot of people wrong they can play with anybody. Turned the program around and built a culture and hopefully it continues.
