We'll start you off with the stuff from later in the day you may have missed yesterday:

Jim Sterk officially named AD
Insider Report on Jim Sterk
(great thoughts in here from a guy who covered him in SD)
Tuesday's Daily Down Low

There's not much early morning news out there. What's happened, you guys know about it. There is a change in the football schedule. We were supposed to have access to practice tomorrow. However, because Jim Sterk's press conference is at 11 a.m. Thursday, they are moving the access to Friday (which actually helps most of us because it's logistically impossible to be at the press conference and be doing interviews at football at the same time). So it will be a couple days before we get another look at the team in action.

ICYMI Cullen Van Leer had 26 points and Missouri won in Italy and heads are exploding on the Internet. But for real (and I'd have said this if they were 0-2 and had been beaten by 15 points each night) it's absolutely impossible and worthless to put any stock in these games or to try to figure out what they mean. The players from the other teams don't have names in the box score. We know nothing about them. The season is two months away. If it entertains you to follow and watch, amen, go ahead and do it, but I'm just saying it is a complete waste of time to try to draw even a shred of a conclusion from what happens over there. Still, always better to win than lose and I like seeing CVL have a big day.

It seems like this could be the rare slow day around Mizzou prior to the press conference tomorrow and camp getting going again. That said, I'm sure it won't happen. Mizzou doesn't do slow days. Probably means they'll decide something on Earleywine in a few hours.

NEW STORY: With Marvin Zanders' continued development, Missouri is seeing 2 at QB this year

Here's a good quote from Zanders IMO: "Both of us are gonna play. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see in the first game, we’re splitting series and stuff like that. I’m just excited about it and I just want to show what I can do."

2017 QB Rey Estes commits to Mizzou

Here is his HUDL:

If you didn't read the article, Estes says he is already recruiting four-star WR Jeff Thomas to Mizzou. This is a HUGE development. We said Missouri would either take an elite QB or a guy that COULD move positions in this class. Estes seems to fit the latter build. If an elite guy who is committed elsewhere open things up, Missouri may have interest, but for now, this seems to close the book on 2017 QB recruiting and the staff can focus on getting a big name for 2018.
