Carte'Are Gordon visits again
I will have a story on Michael Thompson's visit in an hour or so. We've talked to Kamryn Babb, Da'Ron Davis and a few others. I'm speaking to Terry Petry tonight and we should have AJ Davis on the phone by the end of the day, so we'll have updates on both official visitors as well as a handful of others, including 2018 offers Mario Goodrich and Daniel Parker and 2017 commit Rey Estes, throughout the next few days.
Overall, I'm hearing Mizzou is in very good position with Petry and Davis, who were the official visitors this weekend. Am told things went very well, kids seemed to have a good time. No commitments at this point on the football side of things.
In hoops, I spoke with Eric Bossi this morning and it's fair to say that things look very good for Missouri in the C.J. Roberts recruitment. Wouldn't be at all surprised if we get some positive news for the Tigers on that front in the next few days. If it doesn't happen this week, the chances go down in my opinion, but I'm pretty confident you'll be getting some news soon.
Bossi also said he is going to watch Christian Bishop from Lee's Summit West tonight, who was in town over the weekend. Missouri will have coaches in attendance and it is very likely that the Tigers will offer Bishop in the next few days. Eric plans to speak with the kid and should have some info for you guys.
Schiffer has an interview planned with Torrence Watson, who was the other basketball visitor this weekend.
So we've got you covered on the recruiting news. Media day at 3:00 today for football. Stick around, should be a busy few days.
