What about Charlie Strong? I realize the Texas stint was less than stellar but there have always been rumblings that he never had a fair shake there. I'm not saying I necessarily want him as my first option, but I think he's a pretty damn good coach with SEC ties and looked like a rock star at Louisville. He's off to a nice start with USF, albeit with Taggert's players.
