I have to admit I do not know Dawson Downing. He seems like a great teammate. It's doubtful with that Peter Frampton hair thing going on that he has much trouble finding dates.
In the new world of NIL and the Transfer Portal it has been refreshing to watch a former walk on with limited ability stick it out for six years. Getting the starting nod in a bowl game had to be the thrill of a lifetime. My guess is Dawson's future is very bright.
