I don't think the defense got whipped physically yesterday...meaning there is some hope. With that said...without improvement...we probably don't have another win on the schedule. MSU was the worst team.

Main point of new thread...have read a few on here that perhaps the defense needs to be very simple and be more of a bend but don't break type.

I disagree vehemently. When you have an offense that is fast and goes for big plays and quick scores...I think your defense has to be a gambling all or nothing defense as well. The more possessions...theoretically...better for you.

Also...you can't have your offense scoring or not scoring and leaving your defense on the field...so you turn them loose and make it happen one way or the other.

That is what I would like to see this week. Kind of like a basketball team that fires up a shot after one pass but then presses and traps and forces the other team to do the same thing.
