Head Coach Barry Odom has proven both at Memphis and Missouri he is an outstanding defensive coach. He did what another outstanding defensive coach, Derek Madon, did when he was named head coach at Vanderbilt. Both turned over the reins of their team's defense to unproven Defensive Coordinators. Last year it did not take long before Derek Mason took over the Defense at Vanderbilt once he saw it was underperforming and turned it around. Head Coach Barry Odom needs to do the same at Missouri before we head into SEC play next week.
