My brother had a speech class with him. I was in high school at the time and just worshiped the guy. He was probably the reason I attended Mizzou. I just loved watching the games and the excitement, and decided that was where I would go to college.
Anyway, my brother was in a speech class with Derrick Chievous. He had to give an impromptu talk as an assignment. He started off with "It was a cold and windy day..."whereupon he blew towards the crowd and went on to explain about how one of his tags made it into the movie "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo."
I used the blowing technique with great success in a high school speech and watched Breakin' 2 mulitple times trying to figure out which graffiti was #3's.
Thanks for the education, Derrick Chievous!
The guy was incredible
