A lot of talk about a new AD and BBall Coach to restore Mizzou's place among the respected. My assertion is that we hired a well respected AD a short time ago that looked to get the hell out of here at his first chance, due to the total fake debacle of a year ago. Mizzou's reputation has been damaged to the point of 25% less in enrollment, and becoming a joke on the national stage. Our reputation among the AD circles is absolutely awful at this point.
Only thing that can make things better quickly is cash. And when I say cash, I mean a lot of it. You want to entice a top AD to come here at this point you have to pay him Texas money. You want a top Basketball Coach to come here at this point you have to pay him Duke/ Carolina/ Kentucky money. This is the only thing that can quickly change our current course of total incompetence for the future. Many think the "local son" hires will change things...it won't. We are at a crisis point and we need donors to step up and make it happen. Until that happens we will continue to shoot ourselves in the foot.
