Other coaches probably wanted adequate compensation. SEC coaches make a lot of money because they deserve a lot of money. I doubt our administration understands the importance financially on spending a few extra million dollars to get a superior coach. Most people in business realize the tremendous positive impact winning is to our total revenue. Let's face it we have always appeared back ward in the recent past and now we are in a position of not being in a position of significance in any major sport in any conference (except maybe wrestling in the MAC-if that's a major sport.) We put ourselves in this position and last time we were in it for decades. We get no respect because we deserve no respect.
