I was expecting big things from Drew this year, and in some ways he delivered, but in others fell very flat. This has been a season of highs and lows, but it would be unfair to ignore some of the challenges this offense has faced this year!
1. Losing your two top targets at WR has not been talked about enough.
2. He’s working with a new OC
3. The 4th toughest schedule in College football D1
Despite these facts above, it’s hard not to look at his play at times this year and not think he just hadn’t reached the next level of maturity that you see in a senior QB especially one who has played all 4 yrs of Eligibility.
I think for the first time this year we got to see the Drew that we all expected to see this year! I think there will be some NFL scouts licking their chops after watching this game. Keep it rolling true son!
