Discrimination and Sex Work

So a couple candidates who were up for election want to legalize sex work beyond Nevada.

So here is the interesting legal question:

How does sex work operate with discrimination laws?

Will sex worker be able to discriminate based on Gender, race, orientation, etc.? How is that written in?
