Thinking back over our history it seems as though this tends to be the case. I can't remember many "blow outs" against inferior competition over the years. We have had our moments, but more often or not at this point in the season, we don't really see that slam dunk win against a team we all feel we should just crush. In fact usually these games are closer than we'd prefer with the rare loss. (IE Indiana.) However, we also tend to step up against better competition. My buddy who is not a Mizzou fan pointed this out to me, and in looking back I tend to agree with this premise. Hope there is some truth to this and our game gets better against SEC competition. Otherwise, I'm afraid we could be in for a long season.Thoughts?
