MU Athletics Next Year
Will be a little short on donor contributions next year as he's done. He text to his son that he can't deal with another down time like the late 80's & 90's situation. (Nor can I as I was in school at that time)
Bad situation as he's donated $$$,$$$ per year for both football and basketball the last 30 years. (Plus told Mike back in 2013 he'd increase a one time $,$$$,$$$ donation for a certain coach if he could get him for BB)
The coach told Mike at the time, no thanks. I shared this with Gabe at the time while most were ripping Mike for not trying.
He was also is one of the few that would've added any amount to get it done.
My friend brings a very recognizable vehicle every game he got from his dad 25 years ago.
Barry is a good dude and coach, but should've got his feet wet somewhere else. Just my thoughts on this.
