He needs a really experienced DC that has been through the wars IMO. This defense has enough talent to win IMO but some of the calls I see are mind boggling. When you only rush three there is simply no excuse to have a TE / WR (STL kid) running wide open in the middle of the field.
Hard to blame the offense esp. with two starting WRs out and the rain really coming down changed their game. Dooley could have a little more imagination and run a few exotic plays here and there to get the defense off balance.
The onsides kick at that stage of the game was just stupid IMO. Once again Mizzou beats themselves. With better coaching and focus they could easily be undefeated. They are def. not a well Oiled Machine at this point.
