Would mean a lot to break Chase Daniel's record, probably more than it would mean to someone who came from out of state. Said Chase was an idol of his growing up and he's gotten to know him a little bit over the years.
"Everything that's happening right now with the success we're having Coach Odom deserves it 100%...Everything about the University of Missouri he wants it to be successful."
Didn't know much about Albert O last year because he redshirted, now one of his favorite guys on the team. "One of the guys on our team that will really go up and get the ball when he needs to."
Doesn't change his decision making when a receiver is struggling to catch the ball. Still make reads, go through progressions.
Says the Purdue game was the low point, "kind of a slap in the face."
On the NFL and the future: Doesn't have a timetable for making a decision. Only thing he's thinking about is eight wins.
On Heupel moving to press box: Said he thinks Heupel felt like he needed to be on the sideline talking to Lock, now this year trusts him a little bit more and was able to move upstairs to see things a little better. Said that has helped the offense, but
Lock said a Vandy player hit him early and stood over him, said "I'm gonna be here all night." Lock responded, "It's going to be a long night for you then."
"Without eight wins, I think there's going to be a little disappointment in our locker room."
Lock said there was no conscious decision or instruction for him to run the ball more. It's just the way defenses had played them and once he started running a little bit and gaining yards, he gained confidence.
