I'm a hopeless Mizzou fan - seen it all - and I still can't help myself. So I'm really pumped to see that coach Drink is very, very visible here in STL. At the BB game yesterday there were "Welcome to St. Louis Coach Drinkwitz" electronic billboards in Enterprise Center in the corridors. He was at the game of course and got a very nice ovation when they put the camera on him. Then....he did something very un-Barry and un-Pinkel like. Instead of doing the polite wave - like Lovie did - he stands up, smiles and does the make some noise motions with his arms! - and the crowd did in a major way. Dude has enthusiasm running through his veins. Not shy.
On the news tonight they had an interview with him and also a piece about him attending the Demetrious Johnson fundraiser dinner (last night maybe?).
In the Post this morning there was an article about his ambition to dominate STL recruiting. Guy has vision and balls. I for one am going to support and rally behind him. Guy is working his ass off.
